Major recovery at a horrific multi-vehicle accident scene on the N12 Highway

on in Vehicle Recovery

A massive effort by our team today saw the successful clearance and recovery of a horrific multi-vehicle accident scene on the N12 Highway.

What began as a blanket of blinding morning fog quickly turned into a scene of devastation, resulting in a seven-vehicle pile-up, a fiery petrol tanker explosion, and the tragic loss of a woman’s life.

Van Wettens would like to urge all motorists to exercise extreme caution, especially during misty or foggy conditions. If visibility is poor, please consider delaying unnecessary travel. No destination is worth risking your life for.

Thank you to all emergency services, law enforcement, and recovery teams who worked tirelessly throughout the day under extremely challenging conditions.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by today’s tragedy.
