KZNVIP Security, in partnership with the South African Police Service (SAPS), is proud to announce the official launch of a Joint Operations Command Centre at the Phoenix Plaza.
This collaborative initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening safety efforts throughout the Phoenix community, particularly during the festive season and into the New Year.
The newly established command centre will serve as a central hub for coordinated crime prevention, rapid response and emergency dispatch. SAPS officials will work side by side with KZNVIP members and the centre will remain open to other private security companies and ambulance services. All authorised emergency partners are invited to operate, park and respond directly from this location, ensuring seamless cooperation and improved response times.
The head of KZNVIP, who worked closely with the Phoenix SAPS Colonel to establish the centre, emphasized that the initiative is focused on unity of purpose and on creating a safer environment for residents, shoppers and visitors by providing a central point of coordination for all emergency services.
The Phoenix SAPS leadership shared this view, stressing the importance of multi agency collaboration in reducing crime and maintaining visible policing during the high traffic festive season.
Residents can expect an Increased visibility of SAPS and security teams, faster dispatch of emergency and medical services, a unified response to crime and public safety concerns and I mproved coordination during peak shopping and holiday periods.
KZNVIP encourages all local security stakeholders to make use of the centre and join in this community focused effort. Together, the combined presence aims to deter criminal activity, support faster intervention and promote a safer Phoenix for everyone.
