The 2025 Fleet Safety Awards is now open for entries! These Awards started four years ago to celebrate excellence across South Africa’s fleet industry, recognise leaders in fleet management, note organisational road safety, reward driver commitment to safety, highlight truck stops and, now, to promote sustainability efforts.
This year a cumulative total of R250 000 in cash prizes awaits winners who are victorious at the final Awards ceremony in October. The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, says: “With the growth that the Awards have seen, we highly anticipate what this year holds. The Fleet Safety Awards are a testament to our unwavering commitment to advancing safety excellence across the fleet industry.
“Each year, the Awards are a demonstration of the dedication, initiatives and unwavering standards of those involved in fleets. We are proud to provide a platform that celebrates these achievements and inspires others to raise their own safety standards, creating a ripple effect that makes our roads safer for everyone,” says Herbert.
How to enter
The entry process is further simplified and improved to make submitting an entry as hassle free as possible.
- Register at https://fleetsafetyawards.co.za/site/
- Check your inboxes for your unique identifier which will be sent via text and email
- Navigate to the log-in page and use this identifier to log in
- Select the first category you would like to enter
- Complete your chosen category and answer every question
- Save the draft regularly to avoid losing any answers
- Click submit and you will be redirected to the dashboard where the next entry can be completed
- Multiple profiles need to be created if you are nominating numerous individuals for the same category (the Road Warrior is a category where this is often required).
In summary, the entry process can minimised to three simple steps: create a profile, complete the entry and then submit. An entry is only complete once you have registered and completed the full entry. Registration alone is not an entry into the Fleet Safety Awards.

Win every month
Each month a fantastic prize will be awarded to one of the entrants in a lucky draw. This means the sooner you enter, the greater your chance is of winning one of these valuable prizes. For the first month of entries, exclusive tickets to the Festival of Motoring will be awarded to the winners of the draw. There are only a few days left to submit your entry for the draw on 17 June 2025.
