At 0:300 this morning, members from Port Shepstone Accident Response Unit was requested to assist with the tracking of a truck which was hijacked in Umzimkhulu area last night at 23:00.
Three male suspects approached the complainant and pointed him and his co-workers with a gun and tied them with shoe laces. The suspects then drove off with the municipal water truck.
The truck was recovered in Murchison and one suspect was arrested. He will face charges of hijacking and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
