The Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT) in the Northern Corridor responded to information from a registered source about a white Kia Bakkie that was hijacked between New Eersterus and Mogogelo 4-way stop.
The bakkie was hijacked by two male suspects who were armed, kidnapped the driver, and then dumped the vehicle in a bush near Mogogelo.
The vehicle was recovered, and a case of hijacking and kidnapping was registered with the Temba SAPS police station.
