The N1 north near Ga-Phasha, Limpopo is closed due to yesterday’s accident between a tanker and a bus trailer.
A tanker collided with the trailer of a bus. Following the collision, the tanker lost control and overturned.
Operators have sent a relief vehicle for load transfer and the road is currently closed for environmental safety.
Motorists from Makhado to Polokwane and from Polokwane to Makhado will be diverted to R36 before tollgate, they will go and join R81 or used D1356 Botlokwa road that will take them back to N1.
Those from Polokwane to Makhado they will take an offramp at Matoks and use D1356 that passes Mokomene and go and join R36 which will take them back to N1.
