At 11h21 this morning Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a head-on collision between two trucks on the N8 near Kimberly. Exact detail to the cause of the collision is still speculative and will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the crumpled remains of the trucks had come to rest on their sides partially obstructing the roadway. After the injured were examined it was established that three men sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that required.
