A total of 2200 grocery hampers destined for the underprivileged were stolen while being transported between Pretoria and Cape Town.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was contacted this morning (Monday) by a member of the public requesting assistance to locate the goods in transit.
According to the caller, grocery hampers were loaded onto a Volvo (KD72CM-GP) and Freightliner (FBB796-L) on Monday (19/06/2023). Both trucks departed from Roseville in Pretoria but failed to arrive at the destination.

The hampers were expected to be distributed to 2200 destitute families.
