Water has become a scarce commodity for the community of Kwezie and Grootboom township in Somerset East.
Following urgent requests for assistance, Gift of the Givers teams responded to their plight with Isuzu South Africa water tankers filled with clean, drinking water.
Community members young and old came out in numbers to collect water and also made sure the team filled up community JoJo tanks – ensuring that residents who were still at work could collect water from the tanks.
