Four women were injured this evening when they were hit by a truck on Senator Marks Street in Vereniging.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the four women seated on the pavement with the truck parked on the side of the road.
It is believed that the woman had been standing on the pavement when they had been hit by the truck.
Paramedics assessed the woman and found that they had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Kopanong Hospital for further treatment.
Fortunately, the driver of the truck escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
