Earlier today IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a motor vehicle collision on the La Mercy area.
On arrival of paramedics it was established that a delivery truck and a tow truck had collided resulting in four people sustaining injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
Two seriously injured patients were stabilised on scene by an IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedic before being transported to a specialised facility for further care.
The other two patients sustained moderate injuries and were transported by a private ambulance service.
