Two trucks were involved in a side-swipe crash in Usakos itself late Friday afternoon. Fortunately, no injuries were reported but extensive damage to both trucks and property.

■ Early Emergency Medical Service (EMS) activation is the key to a speedy recovery and/or a positive outcome. If involved or when you come across an accident PLEASE notify the MVA Fund of Namibia (9682) soonest.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT the actual cause of the accident and the series of events preceding it remain unclear and will form part of a Nampol investigation that still needs to be conducted.
