VRMED responded on Wednesday morning to reports of a head-on collision on the N8 approximately 20km from Bloemfontein close to De Brug. On arrival, VRMED crews found that a vehicle had collided head-on with a truck.
Sadly the driver of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene, while the truck driver was lucky to escape unharmed.
Fortunately, the fuel tank was empty when the collision occurred. The scene was handed over to SAPS for further investigation. #arrivealive #freestatedepartmentofhealth #mangaungfireandrescue #lifeEMS
