At approximately 13H12 Netcare 911 responded to reports of a truck that had overturned at a construction site in Forest drive, La Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of the heavy motor vehicle a 45-year-old male sustained an injury to his head when the load he was transporting allegedly shifted causing the tipper truck to overturn.
The man was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner and transported by ambulance to hospital for further assessment and care.
The Durban North SAPS was on scene and will be investigating.
