Oudtshoorn Municipality is proud to announce the arrival of a brand-new JCB digger loader, valued at R2.3 million, but successfully negotiated down to R1.9 million by our Municipal Manager, Mr. Mkhululi Yekani. This means a saving that goes straight back into serving our community.
This digger loader will boost the work of our Cleansing Services Department, particularly in Dysselsdorp and De Rust, ensuring faster and more efficient refuse removal and improved service delivery.
Our dedicated driver, Mr. Simon Arends, is especially excited as this machine will allow him to assist in more areas than before.
A big thank you to our Fleet Management team, who made sure the vehicle was delivered within just 3 weeks after the order was placed.
This investment is another step towards building cleaner, well-serviced communities in Oudtshoorn, Dysselsdorp, and De Rust.
