Good progress is being made with the new bridge into Nieu-Bethesda. The contractor is currently filling up the ends of the bridge.
In December 2022 Nieu-Bethesda experienced a flood when the Gats River came down after more than 100mm rain in one day.
The bridge was so badly damaged that it had to be demolished and built from scratch.
We are hopeful that the bridge will be completed before the December holiday season!
