A mechanic employed by a trucking company for just over a week stole computer boxes from four Mercedes Benz Axors and fled.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was contacted by the company (details withheld) seeking assistance in locating the suspect who fled after stripping the boxes from the trucks. All four (4) trucks have been disabled since the theft. The replacement value of the computer boxes are R400 000.
Reaction Officers interviewed the complainant and established that the suspect resided on the company premises. His previous residential area was traced to Tongaat, Clairwood & Esnembe in KZN. Information was received that the suspect had previously targeted trucks at several companies in Kwazulu Natal.
The suspect is an Indian male named Indren (surname unknown) also known as Rusky. He is approx 1.7 meters in height, slender in built, dark in complexion and has a broken nose.
