Just before 18h00 on Thursday night, Emer-G-Med paramedics together with multiple emergency service agencies responded to the scene of a cash-in-transit heist on the N4 near the Kanyamazane Turn off.
Reports from the scene are that an armoured vehicle was bombed by an unknown number of armed suspects before they fled the scene.
No injuries were reported.
