The recent series of flood and fire-related disasters in the Western Cape has meant Gift of the Givers teams attending multiple sites simultaneously.
In Oudtshoorn, Gift of the Givers met with the municipality, Department of Housing, Disaster Management, and SAPS to discuss disaster relief aid for those affected.
In Die Hel, Gamgaskloof, Gift of the Givers, AMS and HOME Center South Africa, recently loaded a helicopter with much needed aid to assist fourteen people trapped in the Kloof due to flooded roads.
Gift of the Givers continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the region as a whole.
