Law enforcement agencies conducted an operation at Ehlanzeni Hostel and the surrounding areas to address illegal electricity connections.
The operation, involving the South African Police Service (SAPS), Gauteng Traffic Police, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD), Gauteng Traffic Wardens, and Calvin Security, resulted in the disconnection of illegal electricity connections from power poles and mini-substations.
