Please be advised that on Tuesday, 21 July 2026 from 07:30, abnormal load trucks transporting wind turbine components will be travelling from Coega Harbour, Gqeberha through Makhanda along the N2 sections 12 and 13 routes, to a farm on the R350 Bedford road.
The abnormal loads will be escorted by both Provincial Traffic and Vanguard private escorts to ensure safe transportation for both the loads and the public.
Planned Movements:
Please be on the lookout for four trucks carrying tower sections. These vehicles are large abnormal loads and will be travelling at reduced speeds.
Road users may experience temporary delays and traffic control measures along the route.
Exercise patience and caution when approaching these vehicles and maintain a safe following distance, avoid overtaking and follow the instructions of escort vehicles.
