The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety informs motorists that the R521 near the Vivo Junction, next to Vivo Garage, is still closed following an incident involving a truck that jackknifed while attempting to make a U-turn.
The truck driver was attempting to make a U-turn at Vivo and proceed towards Alldays. The truck is obstructing the roadway, resulting in the temporary closure of the affected section.
Motorists are advised as follows:
Traffic officers monitoring there have now strategise to direct vehicles to use the edge of the road to and from Alldays and to LTT. Motorists must be patient .
Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution, remain patient and avoid the affected section until further notice. They should also follow the instructions of law enforcement and traffic officials deployed at the scene.
