A truck and a light motor vehicle collided head-on at Boshoek

At approximately 13:08 on the 25th of August 2025, Rustenburg First Responders received a call regarding a head-on collision involving a heavy motor vehicle and a light motor vehicle, with initial reports indicating a patient was trapped.

Rustenburg First Responders immediately dispatched EMS and Fire services to the scene, including JustMed24 EMS, Bojanala EMS, Trauma Rescue EMS, Med24/7 EMS, Life Trauma EMS, and Royal Bafokeng Fire and Rescue Services.

Upon arrival, it was confirmed that one patient was entrapped in the vehicle with moderate injuries. An Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedic was on scene to provide specialised care. Fire and rescue personnel successfully extricated the patient, who was then stabilised and transported to hospital for further medical care.

This incident was attended to by Rustenburg First Responders, JustMed24 EMS, Bojanala EMS, Trauma Rescue EMS, Med24/7 EMS, Life Trauma EMS, and Royal Bafokeng Fire and Rescue Services.
