Thousands of bags of Tastic rice were removed from a truck that overturned on the N3 at Van Reenen’s Pass bordering Kwazulu Natal/Free State this morning (Tuesday 12:35).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) travelling to Johannesburg – Gauteng found the mechanical horse & trailer across dual lanes. Thousands of bags of 10kg rice were removed by passing motorists and locals residing in the area.
The South African Police Services (SAPS) & Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) responded swiftly to the scene.
