While patrolling the N3 and Germiston area, the Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT) Eastern Corridor were dispatched to respond to a hijacking incident. Acting swiftly, officers recovered two trucks and a trailer in Rosettenville, Cleveland:
-A hijacked Shacman truck and trailer with stock valued at R2.8 million
-A UD truck used in the commission of the crime, a generator and grinder were also found on the scene
One suspect was apprehended and detained.
