34 000l Water Tanker assists in Hessequa
George Fire and Rescue Services dispatched our 34,000 litre water tanker to assist with the flare-up of the wildfire in Jongensfontein, Hessequa.
Firefighters Wilton Oktober and Brad Bussack left George on 25 December. The fire was eventually contained. After completing their duties at the fire call, the tanker made several trips to the Witsand area to provide water assistance.
The team and tanker are safely back at George Fire Station.
