Five people were left injured this morning, including a local traffic warden, following a three-vehicle collision on the R23 near the Dube Bridge in Brakpan.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find two taxis and a truck had collided, and were now found on the side of the road.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that a local traffic warden had sustained moderate injuries.
It was later reported that four passengers from one of the taxis had sustained minor to moderate injuries. These patients were transported by another taxi to a nearby hospital.
Paramedics treated the traffic warden and thereafter transported to a nearby private hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
