The driver of a truck fled on foot after colliding into a tree in Brindhaven – KZN.
Residents of Fairview Drive contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre requesting assistance.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene at approximately 15:36.
Officers found that a white Powerstar tip truck collided head on into a tree shortly after leaving a construction site. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot following the incident.
Witnesses informed Reaction Officers that the man was bleeding from an injury to his head.
Reasons as to why he fled could not be established.
