Do take note of a Truck conveying limestone, that lost control, overturned and caught fire, on the R21 direction south at Griffiths off ramp.
The freeway is temporarily closed, all lanes are affected and awaiting for a recovery (towing) to remove the trailer.
Traffic has been redirected to Jones via Emperors Casino or the Griffiths offramp, turning left onto Jones Road, then join Rondebult road, if travelling to Boksburg or joining the N12 East and West.
Both the driver and the assistant driver sustained slight injuries, as the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Freeway Unit Officers, Boksburg Fire Department and SANRAL are on scene.
