A 37-year-old man and his 5-year-old daughter sustained injuries after a Mercedes Benz tip truck they were travelling in overturned on an unpaved road in Mt. Moreland – KZN a short while ago (Friday).
A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 16:07 requesting assistance at the scene. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered the truck lying on its side. The driver was located on the road carrying his minor daughter. He explained that one of the front tyres suddenly locked which caused the fully loaded truck to overturn.
The two were treated for their injuries on the scene before being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
