KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N11 near Dannhauser for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived, they found that 4 vehicles had been involved in a collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 1 patient had sustained serious injuries, 5 patients had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.
