Katherine Street | Rea Vaya Phase 1C Roadworks Progress
Construction continues to make strong headway along Katherine Street, a key corridor in the Rea Vaya Phase 1C rollout.
The first G5 stabilised layers have been completed on the dedicated bus lanes, paving the way for faster, safer public transport.
Now, work is underway on the second G5 stabilised layer, stretching:
- From Rivonia Road to Pybus Road
- From Pybus Road to 5th Street (Johan Avenue)
These upgrades form part of the essential groundwork for the new trunk route, designed to ease congestion, reduce emissions, and connect more Joburgers to opportunity.
