Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a serious truck collision at the Pumulani Toll Plaza on the N1.
Reports from the scene are that a light delivery vehicle rear-ended a trailer resulting in the occupants of the LDV being entrapped in the wreckage with serious injuries.
The injured were cut free using the Jaws-of-life and transported to the hospital for further care.
