IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Paramedics are currently on scene on the M4 near the M41 interchange where there has been a serious accident involving a truck and up to 15 light motor vehicles.
There are multiple injuries on scene, with multiple services on scene to assist.
Traffic will be affected, please kindly use alternative routes.
*UPDATE*
Two patients who had sustained critical injuries have been transported to a nearby facility under the care of IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedics and another critical patient has been airlifted to a specialist facility by the Netcare911 helicopter.
Fortunately, no deaths have been reported.
