Emergency Services are currently attempting to extricate an entrapped driver from the wreckage of a Nissan NP200 bakkie that was involved in a collision.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from a passerby at approximately 11:14 (Thursday) reporting the collision on a link road between the R102 and Cornubia. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered a white Toyota Dyna truck had side impacted a white Nissan NP 200 bakkie. The driver of the bakkie is currently trapped in the vehicle.
Medics from a private ambulance service have stabilised the injured male and are awaiting the arrival of the Ethekwini Fire Department.
