A 40-year-old woman was arrested in Modimolle policing area on 29 December 2022 for being in possession of dagga with an estimated street value of R19 600.00.
A Tactical Intelligence Operation was executed after receiving a tip-off about a female suspect who was on the way to distribute dagga in Modimolle policing area under Waterberg District.
Subsequently, the suspect was intercepted in the area at about 18:00 while driving a silver grey Volkswagen VW Fox motor vehicle, in possession of the dagga. The suspect who is believed to be originating from Nelspruit was immediately placed under arrest for dealing in dagga.
The suspect is expected to appear before Modimolle Magistrate court soon whilst police investigations are still ongoing.
