Priority-Care Ambulance Service received multiple reports on Tuesday morning of a collision on the N8 close to Makro in Bloemfontein.
Emergency services, including LifeEMS, arrived shortly after 10:00 and found that a vehicle had collided with a truck.
The 5 occupants of the vehicle were found to have sustained serious injuries. Crews quickly called for assistance from ER24, Netcare911 and Vrmed.
All patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to Pelonomi trauma unit for further care.
